Property Software : Choosing The Right Package

Try not to base your decision on which property software to buy on price and looks alone. You cannot ignore price altogether, but your final decision should be based on which of the demo versions (which you can download for free) best meet your needs. At the very least, you want property software that can – maintain separate ledgers for individual tenants and owners, automatically post fees, and write bank checks and deposits.

By paying a little more for property software, it should also be able to do the following for you – keep track of appointments and give you pop-up reminders, log past communications with tenants and owners, send monthly emails / e-newsletters out to all tenants and / or owners in your database. Look for the ability of the software to transfer your tenant information to an exportable file, so that you can later look up your tenant details for credit references and to log back payments. Also, you ideally want your software to make it easy to update rent amounts and account details.

Whilst trying demo versions of property software, as well as the features included, evaluate how easy it is to use and navigate. The help files are a good indicator of how much thought the makers of the software care about the end users. So, look up some queries in the help section and assess how thorough the answers are. The importance of user-friendliness cannot be overstated. You will have to learn how to use the software and / or teach others to use it. The more complex and difficult it is, the longer the period of training, and the more mistakes there will be made.

Opt for property software that comes with good after-sales support. This support should be free, at least a few months after your purchase. Some vendors will say that support is only offered if you sign-up for their over-priced software updates. Others charge excessive amounts after a very short free period of support expires. So, look into this before making a final decision on which property software to buy.

As a final point, remember that if you buy the right property software first time around then you will not have to buy any more for the foreseeable future. So, it is worth investing time, effort and money to ensure that your first purchase is the right one.

SEO For Real Estate Agents

If you are blogging to appeal to real estate leads, which many of us are, you know the usefulness of having your content found on the internet. I have invested a lot of time to get the word out concerning the Real Estate Lead Generation Software served through RedX and have learned a large amount concerning search engine optimization in the procedure. What I have learned is that if you want to productively steer leads to your blog, the tangible post is only the first step. The steps following your post will really reveal your level of success in attracting traffic and subsequent real estate leads to your blog.

Steps To Attain SEO Success And Interest Real Estate Leads

Let’s face it. Any time you spend building a blog is an investment in marketing. With this in mind, your return on investment is based upon how many people actually see your blog Since this fact, you need to be sure that your investment pays off through the search engines.

Before you even begin writing your post, you should reveal what keyword expression you are targeting. Once you have decided on a topic, use a few minutes on google to see how competitive the phrase you are focusing on will be. To notice the level of opposition, look next to the search box for the search results data. For example, the competitive data for the term “attract real estate leads is “Results 1 – 10 of with reference to 4,230,000 for attract real estate leads. (0.55 seconds)” Because this article is competing with over four million other entries, it is unlikely to rank high on the search term “attract real estate leads.” Therefore, optimizing it for that expression may be reasonably futile and I ought to perhaps optimize this article to a less competitive expression such as “listing leads for Realtors”, or even “GRAR” which only has one million competitors.

After choosing what you will write about, write your post to incorporate that expression one to three percent of the time. Include the phrase as part of your header tags as well as your subhead Back to our illustration, the expression Appeal to Real Estate Leads is in the tag of this article.

Now You Can Begin SEO

I have used the following steps to successfully promote the RedX discount page.

* Ping your entry using a pinging tool to several sites. I use pingler.com

* Use an article rewriting tool to create multiple unique versions of your article. Unique versions are required so that all syndicated site that posts your post is counted as a single back link to your real estate blog. I now use Magic Article Rewriter as my tool of choice.

* Tender your unique article to as many article directories as possible. I use two tools concomitantly for this. The first is UniqueArticleWizard, the second is Magic Article Submitter. Both tools allow you to syndicate your article across the web over time which regularly increases your links and your search engine rank. Their actual sales pages are pretty cheesy, but the tools work great.

* Bookmark the post to StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicous, and the rest of the bookmarking sites. If you are using a WordPress, Orlywire has an interesting tool that allows you to automatically bookmark your post to your accounts.

* If you haven’t submitted your RSS feed to the numerous feed readers, then now is the time to do so.

* Update the post on your facebook, MySpace, ActiveRain and Broker Agent Social pages.

All of the above sounds like a lot of work, and it does take about an hour to complete all of the steps. However, where you may interest one or two real estate leads from the post alone, you can now expects a few hundred more people to find you from your search engine optimization activities.

Draw more listing leads through GRAR and MRMLS as well as through FSBO prospecting. Real Estate Software is available to help you succeed in real estate.
