What is Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD)?
Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is one of the most reliable and useful tool in the arsenal of a currency trader. MACD is a trend following momentum indicator or oscillator.
MACD shows the relationship between two moving averages of recent prices. It is a lagging indicator. Most technical indicators are lagging which means they are slow. They just tell you what just happened after the fact.
Technical analysis is based on the belief that all available information is immediately impounded into the prices and the past prices can be used to predict the future prices in the currency markets. Learning technical analysis is must for you if you want to succeed as a currency trader.
There are many chart types and technical indicators used in the technical analysis. Technical analysis helps you to read your charts. This is the key to understanding the market behavior.
MACD is calculated by subtracting a slow exponential moving average (EMA) like 55 from a fast exponential moving average like 21. Signal line is calculated by the taking the EMA of MACD for a number of bars like 8. The Histogram is the difference between the MACD and its signal line. 55 and 21 are the number of periods that you use.
MACD is one of the most popular technical indicators in currency trading and is used often. However, beware that MACD is often misunderstood and misused resulting in wrong signals. Like any other technical indicator you should use it in conjunction with other technical indicators for confirmation.
Crossovers: A crossover happens when MACD falls below or rises above the signal line. When MACD rises above the signal line from below, it is a bullish signal. It indicates that you should buy. Conversely, when MACD falls from above, it is a bearish signal. It indicates the time to sell.
Divergence: Divergence takes place when the price diverges from MACD. Divergence indicates the likely end of the current trend. Negative Divergence is when both the price action line and the MACD line are diverging and the price action is rising and MACD is falling. Thats right! The lagging indicator that is supposed to follow the price is predicting future behavior of the prices in the market. It is an indication of the change in the currency trend.
When MACD expands dramatically, this happens when the shorter moving average pulls away from the longer moving average. It is an indication that the currency is overbought/ oversold and may return to normal soon.
You should make one thing very clear when you use a MACD. All the above three cases are important. They should not be overlooked by you as a currency trader. However, none of them alone are signals for entering or exiting a trade. MACD Divergence is tradable when confirmed by other indicators. If you simply start trading on MACD Divergence, it may not yield a profitable trade.
However, when planned in advance and confirmed by other technical indicators, success is more likely. This is due to the fact that several things are happening at the same time. Each is attracting the same bulls and bears into the trade that you are planning.
When you use MACD, crossovers and dramatic rises are easy to spot. However, spotting MACD divergence comes after a little practice.

Many purchasers of visitors insurance coverage wonder how much is enough. Each person?s answer to this issue will vary, depending upon necessary treatment and current conditions. This is an impossible thing to predict, so generous estimates are suggested for future international students insurance needs.
Hospital stays are one of the biggest expenses involved in visitor medical insurance. Most hospitals charge at least $2,500 per day for basic stays. This number would not include any intensive care time. A few days in the hospital could easy run a person in the $35,000 range.
The $35,000 sounds astronomical, but it doesn’t include the costs of surgery. An emergency heart surgery may run over $100,000. That heart surgery may never be needed, of course, but unexpected and impossible are not mutually exclusive terms and the financial burdens of such an emergency can be immense.
Because of life threatening situations, emergency procedures and associated huge expenses are incured by travelers since treatment cannot be put off. One will not be in a medical condition to go back home for treatment. Traveling is stressful and this stress can lead to all kinds of un-expected medical problems.
Major conditions such as heart attacks and strokes will increase medical bills to tens of thousands of dollars in expenses. The necessary treatments for these conditions, when combined with a hospital stay, can easily lead to financial ruin.
For younger visitors, start with a figure of $500,000 in coverage. This ensures that a international student medical insurance policy is adequate to cover any unexpected emergencies that may arise. The odds of expensive conditions are smaller with young people, but the chance is there.
For older persons, the amount of available insurance is generally less. Most have a ceiling of $100,000 in coverage. That maximum should be purchased. Those over 70 years of age may have a lower ceiling of around $50,000 due to their advanced age and the complications it can lend to any emergent condition.
The recommended rates of coverage vary according to age and existing health condition. The costs of medical care are notoriously high and one should make an effort to protect themselves from these costs.

The buyer, or holder, of a foreign currency option has the choice to either sell the foreign currency option contract prior to expiration, or he or she can choose to hold the foreign currency options contract until expiration and exercise his or her right to take a position in the underlying spot foreign currency. Most forex options trading is conducted via telephone as there are only a few forex brokers offering online forex option trading platforms. A forex option is a financial currency contract giving the forex option buyer the right, but not the obligation, to purchase or sell a specific forex spot contract (the underlying) at a specific price (the strike price) on or before a specific date (the expiration date).
When considering a system, you must first be aware that there is no such thing as a totally foolproof automated trading system. In phase two, price breaks beyond the upper boundary and develops a trend. A system that works well in a trending market is usually useless when it is range bound and vice versa.
Many people have heard of making money in the currency market and are keen to try it out. There were also resources that introduced me to the world of currency trading and step by step instructions on how I should start using the software. The particular robot that I use does not charge monthly recurring fees to use and provides a lifetime support service to all its customers.
They might have prospects convinced that by simply buying their product, they will be able to install it and be rich by the time they wake up the next morning. Be sure to always temper your expectations with a little bit of common sense. Don’t assume that if you buy a particular top-notch trading robot, you will be able to instantly make unlimited amounts of cash and never lose a single cent.
You can work with a broker or you can take the reins yourself, purchase and use a Forex trading software. Perhaps the best place to find one is online. To avoid them, be sure to choose forex trading software that has a good reputation in the industry, offers proof of results and a money back guarantee. That being said, it does not mean that if the program developer does not show it as proof, it is not working.

Tips for Residential Outdoor Lighting
Most of us now recognize both the need and charm of residential outdoor lighting. Attempting to light the outdoors portion of your home however is different from indoor or commercial lighting. Here are some things that you need to remember if you decide to install outdoor lighting for your home.
Make a Plan
There are two ways of planning your residential outdoor lighting. Some recommend that you finish everything first before planning for lights while others say that you should plan the placement of your outdoor lights even before your outdoor structures and landscapes are completed. Either way would work and your plans will depend on your preference.
If you go for planning after the work is done, make sure you take the time to assess and evaluate your property properly to find out which areas need lighting. Look for pathways, potentially dark areas, steps, ledges and objects that may have to be lighted to prevent accidents. You could also try to locate items that you would like to be highlighted for decorative purposes.
Keep Changes to a Minimum
If you have recently done a landscaping project, it’s not practical to redo everything just to accommodate the outdoor lighting. Aside from planning, you should also carefully plot your property and potential residential outdoor lighting locations before you begin on your lighting project.
Use Variety
You can experiment with different styles at the same time. Don’t just settle for buying just one set of lamps or one set of embedded lights. Try to consider the idea of using a variety of residential outdoor lighting fixtures and items. Paths and driveways for example can be illuminated by lamp posts while landscapes, shrubs and focal objects can be illuminated by spotlights, backlights or uplights. Wall mounted lights, tiki torches, lanterns and table lamps are also possible options for residential outdoor lighting.
Ask an Expert
Consider asking the help of an expert if you’re not familiar with installing the lighting yourself. Be careful though because some individuals who claim that they know about residential outdoor lighting simply read off catalogs and learn through hit or miss. Get an installer who has a good reputation and who has been installing residential outdoor lighting for a living for some time already.
Check Building Codes
Find out about installation and building codes. Before you even connect a single wire, make sure that you have checked installation and building codes. This is not just a matter of complying with a set of rules. This is a matter of keeping your family and neighbors safe from faulty wiring or installation.
Practice Electrical Safety
Make sure that your residential outdoor lighting is safe for use at all times. Although product qualities are often quality controlled, you should do your part in ensuring safety. You should for example consider having separate external electrical split receptacles instead of using extension cords. You can also choose to install ground fault circuit interrupters near pools or wet areas. Both precautions can help prevent electrocution.
